The latest one for the PS3 was just confusing, and they tried to incorporate some post end game content which, to be honest, FF games are not about. Once ive killed the final boss, i want a well made ending cut scene, and thats it. Not to be able to keep playing to find pointless items, that are useless now.

Jul 27, 2010 - @ShadowsoftheEbonMoon i wasnt able to "try" the later FF,even if i have a ps3 already...i have watched many gameplay videos,many cutscenes and i didnt find it interesting..i didnt find it touching...for Example,you have never played FF before you watch this Ending,and you wanna cry because it is absolutely perfect.As i said there wont be any FF like X,and even if Square Enix decides to make one i believe they will ruin it...

Jul 27, 2010 - @gregohks The graphics on the latest FF are fairly good, it's just confusing and often boring. Not to mention it has this strange thing at the end, slaying the final boss, does not end or complete the game, it lets you carry on, as if it's trying to imitate other free play RPG's which it well, fails at. FF games were never about extra content, in my eyes, they were about stories being told, not about secret gear, strange side quests and such.

There was no clear enemy, you find out Sin is your own father, so it becomes then a mission to redeem and save him, rather than utterly destroy him. As you said, you're glad the world of Spira is saved from eternal destruction, the never ending cycle of Sin dying and being reborn from the final Aeon, but then you feel sadness, for Tidus is just a dream, and fades away, when Yuna had created a world to share with him.

Jul 27, 2010 - @ShadowsoftheEbonMoon well,we all would like a FFX3 (either from auron's point of view with Braska and Jecht,or the continuation from FFx2 good ending) but SquareEnix would ripped it...Never mind im glad they are together again even if FFx2 wasnt that satisfying (i found it a very interesting game even if it wasnt that good like X but ok..)...
