But there’s one interesting little tidbit about Psalms 121: “I will lift up mine eyes to the hills” is better translated as a question: “[Do] I lift up mine eyes to the hills?” (the “hills” or “high places” were where the idols were erected and worshipped). The Scripture’s answer in the next line is more like a rebuttal: “[No,] my help cometh from the Lord!” So what! you say. The song and intent of the composer are still beautiful. I agree.

Jul 10, 2010 - Thank you so much for posting this beautiful song. When you hear something like this it makes you so egar to see Jesus and sing praise to Him along with the heavenly choir. What a day that will be when we see Him face to face!!!! We will all be of the race of Jesus and we will be neuter gendered as the angels are.....so Jesus said. Whatever we are, we will see Him as He is and we all will be changed to be like Him. Things of this earth will not matter when we are in His Holy presence.
